STUD SERVICES

 

Thorougbred Cane Corso offers stud services. We provide on site natural breeding with any of our studs for approved bitches only. It’s the responsibility of the owner of the approved bitch to make sure she is in season and have optimal progesterone levels for breeding.

We require photos, pedigree and health test of any female submitted for approval. We reserve the right to decline services. We also ship frozen semen anywhere in the U.S. Buyer must pay for collected straws from selected stud, vet fees and shipping cost.

ASSIST BREEDING PROGRAM ( ABP )

 

Owners of a bitch from Thoroughbred Cane Corso kennel can request to participate in our Assist Breeding Program. The program consist of a breeding between a TCC stud and customers bitch.

Thoroughbred Cane Corso will provide a stud at no cost to the client. Owner of bitch will retain bitch from the date of insemination until day 56. On day 56 client will deliver pregnant bitch to Thoroughbred Cane Corso to assist with delivery and successful whelping of the puppies. Thoroughbred Cane Corso will do all the necessary work involved with breeder duties, including assisting with whelping of the puppies, watching over Dam and litter while monitoring the health and development of puppies, taking all puppies for their initial veterinary health screening and having all puppies dewclaws removed and tails docked.

Thoroughbred Cane Corso will provide an environment essential for puppy development and a sound temperament and care for the dam and the puppies until puppies have been completely weened off Dam, usually by about 7-8 weeks of age. By this age puppies will have received 4 deworming, the first shot series of vaccinations and experienced this crucial socialization period with the Dam. At the appropriate time the bitch will be returned to owner along with puppies.

Thoroughbred Cane Corso will assist with selling all the puppies from a litter produced through our ABP. All profit from the sale of a ABP litter will be split 50/50, only after all upfront cost,fees and expenses paid by Thoroughbred Cane Corso has been satisfied.

CO-OWNERSHIP PROGRAM / CO-OWNER ASSIST BREEDING PROGRAM

 

 

Thoroughbred Cane Corso at times will have an arrangement with a client that will call for co-ownership of a TCC puppy/dog being transferred to a new home. This type of arrangement can be for a number of reasons or factors. Also, when TCC have litters that produce what we deem to be a select male or female puppy with exceptional quality we may elect to only sell that puppy with co-ownership and require buyer to show dog at AKC events using a professional handler, in addition to agreeing to TCC approved breedings only with select studs or bitches, in which case the details of that arrangement will be stipulated in an agreement made between TCC and client.

A co-owned bitch will be contracted to be bred with studs of Thoroughbred Cane Corso only after she has become mature to breed and have achieved champion status. Clients participating in the co-ownership assist breeding program will have an opportunity to breed their bitch and earn without having to do any work. TCC will provide for any/all of the upfront fees and cost associated with the breeding, boarding, delivery and whelping of the co-owned litter ( medical bills, removal of dewclaws and tail docking, whelping box, kennel, food, supplements, vaccination shots,etc. ) TCC will provide stud free of charge.

TCC will board bitch starting from expected delivery dates and will return bitch along with puppies at the appropriate time after puppies have completely been weened. TCC will assist with the sell of the puppies and the proceeds from the sell of the litter will be split 50/50 only after all upfront cost, fees and expenses paid by Thoroughbred Cane Corso have been satisfied. The length of a co-ownership program can be until agreement is fulfilled or the lifetime of the dog.

CONSULTING SERVICES

 

 

We provide consultation to breeders and pet owners based on our knowledge, understanding and experience as a professional breeder. This service is provided for a flat fee of $250 for pet owners and $500 for breeders. This payment covers all consulting services provided through advice, opinions, and recommendations related to dog/pet care, preventive care, parasite prevention, deworming, vaccinations, behavior issues, ( aggression, excessive barking, biting, etc ) competitive dog show questions, breeding questions and any related matter.
